CALGARY Police in Saskatchewan have arrested a B.C. woman wanted on more than 100 charges related to a string of break-and-enters and mail thefts across four provinces.

Laetitia Angelique Acera was charged last fall during a months-long investigation into a spike of break-and-enters, motor-vehicle thefts and fraud in Calgary.

Acera, who is from Surrey, B.C., but also has ties to Saskatchewan, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for 115 charges, including breach of a probation order, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon and break-and-enter.

Police in Saskatoon said on Twitter that Acera was arrested Wednesday afternoon, just hours after the Calgary Police Service asked for help locating her.

Robert Paul Allard, 30, Steven Edward Hart, 34, and Courtney Lee Delf, 29, were previously arrested in connection with the alleged crime spree.

Seven firearms, various items of stolen property and more than 5,000 pieces of stolen mail from four different provinces were seized in the search, police said, adding 2,194 members of the public were affected by the thefts.

The four charged are all from Surrey.

Calgary police said they worked with members of the Edmonton Police Service, Vancouver Police Department and RCMP in Richmond and Langley, B.C., during the investigation.
