Rihanna is reportedly developing her own high-end fashion line.

The singer-actress has branched out into the fashion and beauty worlds in recent years, finding success with her inclusive lingerie line Savage x Fenty, as unveiled at New York Fashion Week in September, and her Fenty Beauty cosmetics range, which has been praised for catering to a diverse skin colours.

Now, according to editors at Women’s Wear Daily, the 30-yearold is in talks with executives at luxury conglomerate, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, to create a clothing collection.

“LVMH has already hand-picked a clutch of employees from within, including some from Louis Vuitton and Celine, to work on the project in tandem with Rihanna and some of her key associates,” the fashion publication reported earlier this week.

It was also claimed that Rihanna has been involved in “secret discussions” about the potential partnership for many months, with one source commenting that the line will include ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories, and is likely to be released around the same time of her ninth studio record, reportedly titled R9, later this year.

Executives at LVMH declined to comment on the report. Though should the deal go ahead, it will mark the first new brand under the luxury group’s umbrella since the Christian Lacroix house was founded in the late 1980s.

Rihanna is no stranger to working with LVMH’S labels, having previously campaigned as the face of Dior in 2015.
