Redblacks ink former Lions QB
Signings on Day 2 of the CFL’S free-agency period:
Ottawa Redblacks sign quarterback
■ Jonathon Jennings, who had spent the previous four seasons with the B.C. Lions, to one-year contract. Jennings’ best year was 2016, when he threw for 5,226 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Hamilton Tiger-cats sign
■ defensive lineman Ja’gared Davis, who had seven sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles for Calgary Stampeders in 2018.
Calgary re-signs defensive
■ lineman Cordarro Law.
Toronto Argonauts sign
■ defensive ends Shawn Lemon (previously with B.C.) and Tobi Antigha (Saskatchewan). Lemon had 10 sacks last season. The versatile Antigha had two sacks and three interceptions, one of which he returned for a TD.
Toronto also signs linebacker
■ Micah Awe (B.C.), running back/returner Chris Rainey (B.C.), running back Tyrell Sutton (B.C.), defensive back/returner Kevin Fogg (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), defensive lineman Cory Johnson (Saskatchewan) and running back Mercer Timmis (Hamilton).
B.C. signs receiver Duron

Carter (Toronto), running back John White (Hamilton) and receiver Joshua Stanford (Montreal Alouettes).
Montreal signs safety Taylor

Loffler (Winnipeg), a threetime CFL all-star.
Ottawa signs offensive lineman
■ Philippe Gagnon (Montreal), receiver Ryan Lankford (Winnipeg), linebacker Nicolas Boulay (Montreal) and defensive back/returner Troy Stoudermire (Calgary).
Saskatchewan signs receiver
■
Cory Watson (B.C.), who had 38 catches for 406 yards and three TDS last season.
Hamilton re-signs receiver
■
Shamawd Chambers and linebacker Terrell Davis.
Edmonton Eskimos sign
■ offensive lineman Qadr Spooner (Winnipeg).
Winnipeg signs defensive
■ back Winston Rose (B.C.).
