The death of Pauline Moskowec, aged 86, occurred at Jubilee Lodge, Eston, Sk. on May 11, 2020.

Pauline was born Oct 10, 1933, at High Tor, Sk. to Metro and Lena Prestay. After attending Cherry Blossom School, Pauline went to work in Kelvington, and Tisdale.

Pauline married Peter Moskowec June 24, 1951 in Porcupine Plain, Sk. Pauline and Peter farmed near Weekes, Sk. In 1968, Peter took a job at CFB Alsask and the family moved. Pauline worked as a cook at the Alsask Hotel and as a housekeepe­r for private homeowners, and at the base school. They moved to Kindersley in 1981 and Pauline worked at the Homestead Restaurant and the Heritage Manor nursing home. As Peter's health declined, Pauline retired early to look after him until his passing in 2007.

Pauline always had a garden and loved flowers. She enjoyed cooking and having perogy making marathons with her children and grandchild­ren. She enjoyed embroidery and in her later years, the companions­hip of her fur babies, Peaches, Sasha, and Macy. Pauline was predecease­d by her parents, brother Peter and sister Olga, and husband Peter. She is survived by her brother Michael, sons Raymond, Victor, Richard and Tony, and daughter Gloria. She has 10 grandchild­ren and 7 great grandchild­ren.

At Pauline's request there will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place and Pauline will be interred in Kindersley Cemetery beside Peter. Donations in Pauline's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to Kindersley Funeral Home.
