LAZARO, Felipe Pugal

November 20, 1945 - July 3, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Felipe Pugal Lazaro announce his passing on Friday, July 3, 2020. Felipe is survived by his loving wife Rosalinda; his children Brenda (Livio) Aceto, Mike, Ronald; grandchildren Cody, Kori, London; great-grandchildren Quinn and Cohen; brothers Ely (Amor), Jessie (Elizabeth); sister Nora (Gerhard) Bettig; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Felisciano and Agatha Lazaro. Felipe was born in the Philippines on November 20, 1945 and came to Canada in 1969. He married Rosalinda Ordinario in 1973. He worked his entire career as an underground miner with Cominco, later Agrium, until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed laughing, talking, holidays, fishing and travelling in the United States. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Paul’s Cathedral and St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church. There will be a public viewing at Park Funeral Home, 311-3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Social distancing requirements to be followed. The Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Home, on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon in the Garden of the Good Shepherd.
