Prince Albert man charged with possessing child pornography
A Prince Albert man was charged with possession of child pornography following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit that began in March.
RCMP say members of the unit charged the 32-year-old man on July 7 after a search warrant was conducted at a Prince Albert home. Officers seized electronic devices and found “images and videos that meet the definition of child pornography,” a news release said.
The investigation started March 11 and involved an online storage system based in the United States, the news release said.
The man has been charged with possession of child pornography and is scheduled to appear in Prince Albert provincial court on Aug. 11.
