Bridgerton gets a second season

Netflix's period drama Bridgerton is officially coming back for season 2. The news comes less than a month after the series premièred. Netflix made the announcement in the form of one of Lady Whistledown's society papers, writing: “I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion.” Based on the popular books by Julia Quinn, the series' stars include Regé-jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor, along with Julie Andrews providing voiceovers. Production is set to start in the spring.
