Sherbrooke celebrates families
alike.
Again this year, a contest has been launched on the City of Sherbrooke Facebook in which: three gift baskets, each containing free vouchers for family activities worth $700 each. To participate, people are invited to check out the Sherbrooke Family Week programming and to nominate an event in which they wish to take part. They must also identify a friend in the same comment. Only one entry per person will be accepted and winners will be announced on May 13 at 3:30 pm at the official launch of Sherbrooke Family Week at the Centre Julienducharme as part of Family Day in the Borough of Fleurimont.
Fleurimont’s Family Day takes place on May 13 offering inflatable games, an animal kiosk, a zip-line, a climbing tower, and Euro bungee. A free dinner will be available and free shuttles will run between Depot St., the Galeries Quatre-saisons, Place Fleurimont and the Centre Julien-ducharme.
Fire Protection Inspectors will also take this opportunity to mark Emergency Preparedness Week, ending May 13, by offering children recreational activities related to evacuation while providing fire safety tips.
