Save the date for our 2017 AGM and more!

-

Townshippers' Association’s Annual General Meeting is a vital opportunity for members to participate in our governance. Along with usual business, such as the presentation of our 2016 Annual Report, the AGM gives us the chance to showcase our achievements and gives you the chance to meet Townshippers’ staff and board, as well as other members of the community.

Members, stakeholders, and the public are invited to the 2017 edition on June 9, at 5:30 p.m. During the AGM, only members will have the opportunity to vote on governance items.

Following the meeting, this year’s winning Excel in the Estrie! essay authors will be presented. Every February Townshippers’ Make Way for YOUTH project invites graduating high school seniors to write about overcoming the challenges – academic, social or personal – on their path to educational success and how they see themselves living and working in the Townships in five years from now.

Winning essays will be awarded up to $500 thanks to our partners - the Lennoxville Youth Center, Global Excel, and with the support of the government of Canada. You can read the winning entries in the autumn edition of Townshippers’ member’s magazine.

As well as having our AGM at the Estrimont Suites & Spa (44 avenue de l'auberge in Orford), we are pleased to invite you to stick around for light refreshments, or a drink at the cash bar, and the official release of the Our Stories ebook in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Become a Townshippers’ member today! Signup online at www.townshippers.org/member or call 819-566-2182 (1877-566-2182).
