Java Jam Coffee House at Emmanuel United returns

Call for talent!

- By Louise Smith

Susan Reininger and Debbie Roy are organizing another Java Jam Coffee House in the hall of Emmanuel United Church, at 203 Rue Principale in Cowansville, on Friday evening, May 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. All musical and singing talents are welcome as are those who just want to sit back to enjoy the talents of others. The evening will be mostly performers but it will end with karaoke. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served. There is a cover charge of $5. All money raised that night will go towards youth camperships for this summer. If you would like to register as a performer for the evening please call Susan at 450-522-8911 or Debbie at 450-5219199.

You do not have to be a “churchgoer” to be able to have fun at the coffee house. It is a way to see local talent and to support young people who want to go to camp. People of all ages can enjoy the coffee house evening. See you there at the church closest to the Giant Tiger parking lot.
