New Schoolyard inaugurated in Cookshire
The Hauts-cantons school board inaugurated a new courtyard at Sacré-coeur school Friday featuring new, high-quality game modules.
Saint-françois MNA Guy Hardy took part in the event on behalf of the Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports, Minister of the Family Sébastien Proulx. The project was possible thanks to the granting of government assistance of $25,000.
"Thanks to the embellishment of its schoolyard, Sacré-coeur school, which has always distinguished itself for the dynamism of its teaching and support staff, is now bringing all the conditions in order for the children who attend it to have an enriching experience, to the benefit of the community of Coaticook," Hardy said.
In a statement, Proulx added that "Education is at the heart of our government's priorities,” Proulx said. “By investing in school infrastructure, our government is demonstrating its commitment to providing young people with quality educational services that meet their needs. This new school will allow local students to learn in a stimulating environment and will promote their educational success."
