Fulford events

Fulford residents met with Mayor Richard Burcombe, (Councillor Robert Laflamme was unable to attend), and DG Gilbert Arel. At casual meetings/residents delve into local matters, with much discussion (and some debate!).

There is good news that Shirley Wilson is well.

The Fulford Annual Strawberry Social, Saturday, June 17, noon-3 pm, will feature strawberries on home-made biscuits with freshly whipped cream. The Duck Race, on the Yamaska River, will benefit the Frontier Animal Society of Ogden. Additional refreshments, bake table, games, quilt and other raffles will be available.

Among major winners of MVHS Athletic Awards was Jacob Quilliams.

Condolences to husband, John Parry, and family on the death of Sandra “Sandy” Parry (nee Irwin). Formerly of Fulford, the family has lived in Golden, BC, for some time.
