In all humility

-

I am no more valid than another guy, Who admires that Great Guy who did die – For us, when He came some 2000 years ago; Teaching everyone the way to live, how to go…

His miracles should serve to aptly attest, That He was the greatest who did His best To deliver God’s message of genuine humility That the hearts of mankind open with facility;

He spoke for His Father, who heeded all earthlings, Not to get lost in their bubbles of selfish things: He saw no need for grandeur – respect was to be the goal; He wanted to see love from a true and honest soul –

Life can affect humans and cause corrupt actors, And their acts can involve numerous bad factors: Yet there is always that hope for one’s redemption When humility buries one’s attitude of self-exemption.

In this world of human-to-human contact Where the smug and the desperate will interact. Many exchanges lead to inaccurate assumptions When self-righteous judgments create bad gumptions.

Humility is the eye-opener to mankind’s humanity; It is silent, within the hearts of those who show pity – Sadly, we are a show-off world of know-all despots Who sit, blindly in their towers and comely lofts…

Rich man, come down, look kindly upon that beggar you meet; It may be for your comforts that he now has no feet – Yes, your mind has led you to where you are today: Open your heart, humbly, for it is his heart that paved your way.

In the wisdom of Jesus, He showed humble awareness That the simple life of the desolate can be success: Bogus, the bias built up by those with an affluent lifestyle, Yet, the life in humility, was the least adulterated all the while.
