The World Is Us

-

Advancement in technology has not improved our lot. if anything it has lessened human interaction and discussions face to face are not the norm.

No longer are folks asked to do robotic jobs. They've been replaced by robots. This leaves the human unemployed and workplace satisfaction long since gone.

The family unit, it has too, been adversely affected. The pace of living in an electronic age has only introduced unwanted stresses in the family atmosphere.

The time to sit and contemplate the daily happenings, is just not there. Discussion time, parenting time has been rendered non-existent.

Play time, fun time, a time to learn to cope with the demands of growing up, has seemed to disappear.

The trending of our life today would point to further acceleration in what we do and how it is accomplished. The satisfaction factor all squeezed out.

Concerns are raised today, by people in the know, that how we live today cannot be carried on.

What off our offspring? Will they be left to right the wrongs that we knowingly create? Surely not a legacy we wish to leave.
