A van for the Sunshine House, with your help it can happen!

- The Scoop Mable Hastings

the Sunshine House festively decorated with balloons, ribbons, hearts and flowers, mixed with paintings and other crafts created by the clients. It is truly their home and the clients take pride in their creative expression and have even started seedlings on the windowsills for the coming garden season.

There has been landscaping provided by Eric Dechenes and Karen Tinker of Cultiv-art Mansonville with the planning of bushes and trees. They also planted perennials that were donated by many kind people. There is more space for flowers and donations are warmly accepted and appreciated. Eric also built a fence to keep the clients secure with wood donated by committee member and parent, Colin Field.

Sunshine House has engaged both Janet Patch and Pascale Marquis to create activities to help the clients be implicated and motivated doing crafts, exercises and games as well as outings etc…

All support thus far made possible by the financial contributions and help given by the community and beyond has helped to enrich and stimulate those who reside at the Sunshine House.

“We are proud of what we have been able to put in place,” shared Lake. “We are equally grateful and proud of the support given in making it all possible.”
