2 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Inflatable games 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Tennis, volleyball, basketball, and mini golf 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Face painting 4 p.m. — Raising of the flag, singing O Canada with Canadian Legion 5:30 Steak BBQ — pre sale $15, July 1 $18 Music all evening with DJ Brian Gibson 10 p.m. — Fireworks

Canada Day celebratio­n in Bury begins Friday at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Park with a songwriter­s contest followed by a dance.

Saturday, an unforgetta­ble family day outing. At 7 a.m. begins a fishing contest, breakfast pancakes/sausage, various competitio­ns and prizes, flea market, strawberry shortcake. Big parade at noon. Olympic games for children at 1 p.m., Gymkana and loggers competitio­n. Presentati­on of trophies to the winners of the Olympic games, a guitar for the best singer and cash prizes for the best floats. Country music bands under a big tent from 1 p.m. At 10 p.m. great fireworks.
