Richmond 4-H will host its annual Ice Cream and Strawberry Social on Saturday, July 1 at the Richmond Fair Grounds, 128 Route 143, Cleveland. $5 for children under 10 and $8 for adults. Doors open at 7 p.m. Help us celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversar­y! Thanks to 4H Connecting Canadians funds, Richmond 4-H will end the evening with fireworks. Everyone welcome.

July 1 On Saturday, July 1, the Municipali­ty of the Village of North Hatley will be celebratin­g Canada Day in Dreamland Park (corner of Capelton and Main). The fun starts at 4 p.m. with a barbecue by the Royal Canadian Legion of North Hatley.
