Festival des traditions du monde celebrates with craft beer
The Festival des traditions du monde de Sherbrooke (FTMS) is marking its 29th anniversary this year and is boasting of its very own craft beer to mark the occasion.
The festival has formed a new partnership with the owners of Simple Malt the micro-brewery in Sainte-eustache who have brewed a beer in the image of the festival. In addition to being sold on the festival site, the beer will also be available at Sherbrooke’s Metro grocery stores and specialty stores at Vent du Nord. “It’s a great thing to have a beer on behalf of the event,” said Communications Director Valérie Saracosa.
The FTMS will be held from August 9 to 13 with more than 200 shows, workshops, and animations from some 600 artists expected on the nine indoor and outdoor stages of the festival. Entry for one day is $7 for adults and is free for children 14 and under.
