Another birthday – Should I review the years of the past Is there someone who I failed to repay Or should I go on to enjoy today’s repast?

Another birthday Have I forgotten someone or betrayed another, Unknowingly, who could lash out with mush to say Or, should I simply thank, within, my dear mother?

Another birthday – Should I dwell on the hurt of difficult years When life was just much hardship and no play Or, should I write off my memory those old tears?

Another birthday – Should I ask His forgiveness for my failures; Failures in not using His advice in a good way – Or accept that my faults were not at all hers?

Another birthday – Time to travel a new byway Using good and bad of yesterday!
