Mont-orford Park offers new agro-tourism ‘Tour des Voisins!’
Gourmets visiting Mont-orford Provincial Park will be delighted to learn that Sépaq has officially launched its "Tour des Voisins" in collaboration with regional artisan partners. On an agro-tourism tour around the Eastern Townships park, visitors are provided a 67-kilometer journey punctuated by gourmet stops at nearby regional artisans. In addition to a vast selection of food, visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the park.
"We want to allow visitors to enjoy more of what the Estrie region can offer," said Brigitte Marchand, director of Mont-orford National Park. Valuable regional partners On presentation of an access pass to the park, visitors will be offered a gift from one of the artisan partners - La Savonnerie des Diligences, le Refuge – Café de montagne, les Herbes Orford, les Ducs de Montrichard, la Ferme Brassicole des Cantons, Citrouilles et Tournesol, Au Vignoble d'orford, and les Chocolats Vanden Eynden.
For visitors wishing to have a picnic on the way or for those who can’t make it to the regional craftsmen, a "La Tournée des Voisins!” lunch box, Inspired by the products featured on the tour will be available at Le Bonnallie Service Center (Lake Stukely Campground) in Mont-orford National Park. A catering service is also offered at the new Le Refuge mountain café, located at the back of the Savonnerie des Diligences.
