Fantasy journey

-

Finally, I am now able To travel the world; I might let myself be unstable, My mind in a fantastic whirl!

In a jet plane I now fly, Looking at itsy-bitsy life below; Clouds a bit everywhere, bye and bye My senses alert, very much a glow!

The stewardess smilingly asks What would I want to drink – I teasingly test her tasks, By saying, “Dom Perignon” with a wink!

Of course, not all is up here, On the wings of this metal beast, But my mind overflows in good cheer As my seat moves me fast to the East!

It now is above the Maritimes, Littered with lakes galore; At the same the sun shines – I don’t need anything more!

“Tighten your belts,” the captain said, And I prepared for the landing; Scenes of God’s Country in my head, What more could I be demanding?

Just at that special moment there came a loud clank – It was the early garbage truck – I awoke, and my flight sank.
