Potton welcomes new Familiprix Pharmacy
and is very happy to now find herself in a town that she hopes their pharmacy will resemble as a business — warm, welcoming and friendly.
Riendeau is a 26-year-old pharmacist who graduated from the University of Montreal in 2014. She is a cat owner who enjoys hiking and jogging and was once a tutor at the University. She worked for a time at a pharmacy in Verchères, on the south shore of Montreal.
Both Riendeau and Rousseau are eager for the community to meet their staff team who anxiously await your visit to the pharmacy, which is now open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Sundays. Tel: 579-441-8181.
“We really want to thank all of the people who joined us at our grand opening event,” said Rousseau. “The attendance made us realize how enthusiastic and welcoming the people of Potton are.”
The Missisquoi North Volunteer Centre (CAB) provided volunteers to help serve at the event with the Familiprix donating all tips from the evening to the fundraising efforts of the CAB.
“A big thank you to the CABMN,” shared Riendeau. “It is with great pride that we look forward to future opportunities to collaborate with such dedicated and wonderful volunteers.”
The two new pharmacists truly feel that they have found their place in the heart of Potton and they and their team are looking forward to meeting the health needs of Potton’s people for years to come.
