Magog Culture Days Sept. 30 to Oct. 1
As part of its Journées de la culture (Sept 30 - Oct. 1), the Town of Magog is inviting the public to make some new and informative cultural discoveries by taking part in some of the various free activities aimed at the whole family. Saturday, September 30 From 10:30 am to 4 pm, Culture and Heritage Discovery Day, In collaboration with the Magog Historical Society and the Galerie Taillon, one of the oldest houses in Magog will be open for visits, and a demonstration by a painter, a historical conference, and workshops for children will be on offer at the Taillon Gallery and its superb grounds from10:30 am to 4 pm.

From 1 to 2 pm, an Archaeological animation on the tools of New France will be featured, followed by a demonstration by painter Zoëlle. Sunday, October 1 At 1:30 pm, the Kathleen Milne Room at the Bibliothèque Memphrémagog, a different way of expressing yourself will be proposed with an introduction to the creative journal. Presented and animated by Véronique Gemme, this workshop introduces spontaneous drawing, non-linear writing, collage, using the other hand, giving voice to a scribble, and pasting a random picture, are friendly methods to relax, get to know each other and have fun in an activity suited to the entire family (9 yrs and up).
