Ladies Auxiliary Branch #15 Richmond Legion card party

On the evening of October 26, we had players for Military Whist at 16 tables. A few announcements were given and then play was under way. After all the required moves, lunch was served while prizes were given out.

First, with 27 flags, was won by Rita Trudeau, Marcel and Suzanne Tremblay and Marcel Geoffroy; second prize, with 25 flags, was won by 2 tables, Debbie Knowles, Allie Vanderwal, Joyce Mastine, Carol Nixon and table 2 Freda Coote, Noel Gregoire, Helen Knowles and Lise Boisvert. Lowest score went to Robin Converse, Wanda Viens, Melodie Pariseau and Valerie Fowler.

Door prizes were won by Larry Frost, Sylvia Morin, Jackie Ross, Ian Smith, Patsy Biggs, Debbie Knowles, Judy Saffin, Willie Leblond, Jim Stevens, Bob Dunn, Marie Cassidy, Norma Morin, Wanda Viens, Marie-paul Pariseau, Rita Trudeau, Blanche Mastine, Melodie Pariseau, Lou Joyal, Phyllis Bouchard, Gerry Willet, Sherley Provis, Vera Hughes, Lise Boisvert, Pauline Pelletier, John Sharman, Matty Banfill, Noel Gregoire and Elizabeth Blouin.

Grocery box went home with Elaine Dalton, a friend from Newfoundland.

Thank you to everyone that helped make this a fun evening, from the making of the lunch, donations of prizes, setting up and the cleaning of the Hall after. Hope to see you all in November.
