Featured pet: Renoir

-

November is adopt a senior month so we taking advantage of this opportunity to give our senior cat Renoir a much deserved chance to find a home before the holidays.

Renoir who is approximately 10 has been at the shelter for far too long. Initially brought in as a stray, he settled into his shelter routine with ease. Having a safe and warm place to live with the added bonus of comfy beds, toys, treats and regular meals was definitely a step up for this friendly cat but now it is time to find him a family.

Renoir is very chill and relaxed and he loves any attention he can get. He likes to be pet and is quick to purr. He is trusting and gentle. Always in search of a companionship, he will often follow visitors as they make way around the cat room.

In the summer he spends most of his time out in our "catio" happily lounging in sunshine. Renoir is quick to appear when treats are being offered and isn't shy about making it known that he wants his fair share.

If you are looking for a good natured, happy and distinguished older cat please consider giving Renoir a chance. It is his turn to shine and just because he is a little older doesn't mean he isn't worth a second look. After almost two years living at the shelter, he deserves to enjoy the creature comforts that only a home can provide. He is a wonderful cat and our hope is to find him an equally wonderful home where he can spend the rest of his life feeling like he is the luckiest cat in the world.

To meet Renoir, please consider dropping by at our weekly adoption event that takes place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The shelter is located at 2405 rue Griffin (Route 247) in Ogden.

If you can't make it on Saturday, please send an email to frontieranimalsociety@gmail.com or call us at 819.876.7785 and we'll be happy to set something up.
