WOMEN’S BASKETBALL Mcgill ‘Two’ much for Gaiters on Saturday Night

A well-timed timeout midway through the third quarter by the Mcgill Martlets changed the outlook of Saturday night's RSEQ University women's basketball game at Bishop's University. The No-2 ranked Martlets swiped momentum and went onto a 74-51 victory over the Bishop's Gaiters in Mitchell Gym.

MEN’S BASKETBALL Kamane’s 21 not enough as Gaiters fall to Mcgill

Abdul Kamane (Montreal, Que./vanier College) scored a team-high 21 points but it was not enough to withstand the Mcgill offence, as the Bishop's Gaiters fell, 100-78, in RSEQ men's basketball action at the Mitchell Gym in Lennoxville, Saturday.

AOW Noblecilla and Naji named Provigo, Robert Lafond Bishop’s Athletes of the Week

Edith Noblecilla (Guayaquil, Ecuador/santo Domingo de Guzmain) of the women's basketball team and Yassin Naji (Lunel, France/lycée Pothier Orleans) of the men's basketball team are the Provigo, Robert Lafond Bishop's University Athletes of the Week for the week ending Nov. 26.

THIS WEEK FOR THE GAITERS Friday, Dec. 1

Women’s Basketball vs Laval 6 p.m. Men’s Basketball vs Laval 8 p.m. *Friday's games have a special add-on for fans attending Mitchell Gym. Patrons will have the chance to get their photo taken with "Santa Gaiter." He will be present to collect non-perishable food items in benefit of families of Lennoxville Elementary School.
