- By Sylvain-claude Filion

More and more residents are finding their favorite movies and TV shows at the Lennoxville Library, the only place in the borough where you can rent new releases (and tap into a vast repertoire) for only $2 per movie or $5 per season of a TV series. Thank you all, because the current popularity of our DVD rental service gives us the means to enrich our collection with a dozen new titles each month.

Among our most recent acquisitions, the highly anticipated series produced by Netflix “The Crown”; Season 5 of “House of Cards”; and yours to discover, the acclaimed Québec mini-series “Feux” (2016), winner of seven Gémeaux Awards including Best Actor (Alexandre Goyette), Best Actress (Maude Guérin), Best Writing, and Best Drama Series.

Piles of New Books!

On our shelves, several new novels are waiting for you: Dan Brown’s “Origin,” Bernard Cornwell’s “Fools and Mortals,” John Grisham’s “The Rooster Bar,” Will Ferguson’s “The Shoe on the Roof,” Jennifer Egan’s “Manhattan Beach,” David Baldacci’s “The Fix,” Jean Pendziwol’s “The Light-keeper’s Daughters,” and many others.

Coming in January To celebrate Family Literacy Day, we invite you to join our first “Read-a-thon” on January 27, 2018. We’ll turn reading a book into a fun activity and a friendly challenge for your children and teens! For more details, visit our website!
