Come Celebrate Christmas at Sherbrooke Women’s Connection!

-

Last November’s gathering, we heard about sensible ideas. We met at the ANAF “the Hut” at 300 St. Francis Street in Sherbrooke. It’s always fun to see who will win the door prizes. And this time, Scentsy Rep Rose Fowler Mcvety got in on the fun by putting a small prize on each table. She also shared lots Scentsy shopping ideas for us! It was great that 10% of sales went to our group funds. It’s nice to see a local business flourish! Peter Rout strummed his guitar with two classical songs “There are no tears in Heaven” and “My soul will sing”. His wife, our inspirational speaker Valerie Rout talked about “Legacy: What do you want yours to be?” and how she discovered this in her faith journey. What will people remember about you? How do you want people to remember you? With these questions and more, she encouraged us to make our own decisions as we travel on our own faith journeys with God.

Don’t forget to come celebrate Christmas with us on Thursday, December 7th at 9:30 – 11:15 a.m. Men are invited to this event. We will meet at the “Hut” for one last time. The Ladies Auxiliary will once ANAF Ladies Auxiliary make great refreshments! again spoil us with delicious goodies that they put out for us. There is a $7. entrance fee for all the fun, food and friendships. This is a real deal! There’ll be special Christmas music with the Late Bloomers. A little Christmas shopping with Avon. And another inspiring faith journey with Meryl Bishops from South Portland, Maine. She is originally from South Africa. Meryl shares the adventure and excitement she discovered when stepping out of her comfort zone. For the end of the year, we will present a slide show of SWC photos from past gatherings.
