Our meeting of November 21 was at the Elie Carrier Centre. Our new President, Penny Fowler, started the meeting with thanks to friends and members present. She talked a little bit and had a few jokes to read to us. She also gave a few free tickets for the Actibus to whomever wanted one. She thanked Kathy Bellows for getting the cake at Costco this month. Shirley Desruisseaux said ‘Grace’ and we had a lovely meal that included meatloaf.

It’s Christmas time again. Food banks are requesting donations of either money, food and even toys for the children of the families registered. The toys can be given to the CAB directly. We will accept donations at our next meeting and pass them on to the organization in the area.

Members who have their birthdays this month were for Delma Fowler and Thomas Mayne.

The FADOQ’S office is on the second floor of the Elie Carrier Centre and for more information the website is www.fadoq.ca (site under construction in English).
