Our feet support us — learn how to support them
According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, most people are born with healthy feet. But three out of four people develop serious foot problems as they age — putting their independence and well-being at risk. Healthy feet contribute to your safety and health. Learn why caring for them is so important at a free, live Health Matters presentation by Rachel Zechius, R.N., on February 16.
Rachel is a foot care specialist and teacher at Cégep Marie-victorin, and offers her skills in home care, seniors’ residences, and private clinics in the Montérégie area. Her interests lie in selfmanagement and independence for her clients. During her presentation, Rachel will describe what is normal and what is not, how to care for our feet and show us great foot exercises.
