Golden Rule # 13 of Danville Odd Fellows

All Installations are done and Christmas celebrations taken care of. At Installation of Golden Rule # 13 Odd Fellows of Danville there were interesting happenings. On December 2, 2017 District Deputy Grand Master #5, Fred Mosher and Staff appeared to install members of Golden Rule #13. It was done up in fine style!

During the meeting the newly-installed Noble Grand, Robert Mckeage, was presented with “the Travelling Gavel and Bible” that goes with it. Many years ago this was an idea to have lodge members visit other lodges in the District to become better acquainted. For some time it was not done. At the District #15 Meeting in Kinnears Mills, “The Bible and Gavel” were presented to DDGM Robert Blais. This was to be presented to another Lodge and Golden Rule # 13 was next to receive it. After the meeting we were all invited for refreshments and a social time - most enjoyable!

There are great cooks in Danville! Thanks - we enjoyed!
