Bamford and Goodvin delight crowd at Centennial

- By Jessie Pelletier

Gord Bamford and his Neon Smoke Cross Canada Tour, stopped at Centennial on February 8 with Canadian singer Aaron Goodvin as the opening act. It was a delightful evening for everyone.

Warner Music Canada recording artist Aaron Goodvin did not disappoint. His music was well received by concertgoers. The young man is very energetic, his music infectious, and his presence on stage is awesome and he offers great vocals. When it comes to talent he’s got the whole package.

The Alberta native sure knows how to work a crowd and people just loved him.

Gord Bamford for his part did not have to win the audience since people who were attending knew it would be a great concert.

This recipient of an impressive 24 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) awards, he is also a two-time winner (2013/2015) of Nashville’s Country Music Association CMA Global Country Artist award. He sure knows what his fans want.

Bamford’s distinctive sound, his beautiful voice, his ability to write a catchy song, and his love for his fans, define him as a unique artist. And that is what he managed to prove again that night.

He is a talented man who is faithful to his roots and doesn’t need gimmicks to show who’s the boss on that stage. In all it was a great evening of country music. See page 13 for another photo.
