Richmond Legion Br. 15 Ladies Auxiliary Military Whist

On the evening of March 22, we were pleased to have players at 15 tables. After words of “welcome” and a few announceme­nts everyone was on the move. Too soon all the required moves were completed and it was time to join the lunch line, followed by the prizes.

First prize, with 27 flags, was won by Darlene Beaudet, Sarah Fowler, Freda Coote and Elizabeth Blouin. Second prize, with 26 flags, was won by Bev and Ronald Jones, Jackie Ross and John Sharmen. Lowest score, with 14 flags, was won by Linda Badger, Sylvia Morin, Amanda Woodard and Matty Banfill.

Door prizes went home with Vera Hughes, Shirley Beasley, Lou Joyal, Judy Saffin, Ronald Jones, Raymond Fortier, Wendy Ridley, Collette Pageau, Thelma Day, Hughie Lancaster, Elizabeth Mastine, Valerie Fowler, Sylvia Morin, Bob Dunn, Iona Patrick, Sarah Fowler, Charlie Hodge, John Sharmen, Donna Ham, Bev Jones, Mel Pariseau, Darlene Beaudet and Francis Saffin. The grocery box was won by Peter Boisvert.

The Ladies Auxiliary would like to take this opportunit­y to thank everyone that helps set up and unset the Hall and thanks to all that help with the lunch and a big thank you to all that donate door prizes, much appreciate­d, and also a huge thank you to all that come and support us.

Hope to see everyone again in April.
