Township Toddlers’ 25th anniversary benefit dinner

-

Next Saturday there is a wonderful way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Township Toddlers’ fundraising campaign. At the Knights of Columbus Hall (Salle des Chevaliers de Colomb) at 234 rue Christophe Colomb, in Cowansville the delicious dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Roast beef and BBQ pork and all the trimmings will be offered for only $15 for those 13 years of age and up, $8 for 7 to 12, and free for those 6 years of age and under. If you just want to come for the dance, it is $5 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., where Smokin’ Country and friends will be providing the music. If you come for dinner, the dance part is free.

There will be special door prizes to honour the 25th anniversary and a fundraising auction after dinner. All the donations go towards a special project at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. From the fall dinner, $12,500 was recently donated to the hospital. Over the years a total of over $200,000 has been raised from the dinners.

Reservations can be made through Ross Cote (450-266-1716) or Hall (450-2635080). Ross and his organizers cannot thank the community enough for the support given over this past quarter century. If you have never been, it is worth coming out next Saturday to be part of the special experience. Once you have been to a Township Toddlers’ dinner, you understand the warm spirit of community that abounds in this area.

See you there.
