Lennoxville Golden Agers

The seniors met at Gertrude Scott Hall on April 10 for an afternoon of cards and supper.

Winners of 500 were:

Mens’ First: George Peasley

Mens’ Low: Wayne Nutbrown.

Womens’ First: Keith Vintinner (played as a woman)

Womens’ Low: Lise Provencher.

Grace was said by Pat. Supper was Shepherd’s pie, tossed salad, French bread, beet pickles, tea and coffee. Gingerbread and whipped cream was for dessert.

Darlene Rogers was a guest for the second time. Thanks for joining us, Darlene.

Door Prizes were won by Greta Nish, Jack Kimpton, Gwen Bayley, Elaine Lebourveau, Darlene Rogers, George Martel and Wayne Nutbrown.

Pat thanked the cooks. She asked the seniors with reports to have them available for the end-of-the-year meeting.
