‘The Month of Printmaking’ at Galerie Art Plus

t is with great pleasure that we invite you to the vernissage of our next exhibition “Le mois de l’estampe” — “The Month of Printmaking” that will be held Saturday May 5 at 2 p.m. at 8 rue Maple, Sutton, Que.
In order to give center stage to the art of printmaking, Galerie Art Plus is dedicating the month of May as “The Month Of Printmaking.”
Christiane Roy, a Sutton-based printmaker artist and curator for this exhibition has attracted no less than 15 printmaking artists from our region of Brome-missisquoi, and as far away as Greater Montreal to help us celebrate this unique event, including Francine Beauvais, Louis-pierre Bougie, Deborah Chapman, Marianne Chevalier, Élisabeth Dupond, Michel Dupont, Carole Fisette, Muriel Faille, Denise Lachapelle, Claire Lemay, Philippe Mainguy, Élise Massy, Christiane Roy, Bernice Sorge et Daniela Zekina.
During May, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the diverse techniques employed by these artists: wood engraving, copper engraving and dry point, etching, mezzotin, silkscreen, lithography, etc.
Demonstrations of printmaking, its tools, printmaking plates, and instructional videos will allow everyone to better understand the marvelous world of printmaking.
