Lennoxville Street Festival preparing a glowing 9th edition

-

The 9th annual Lennoxville Street Festival may still be a few months away, but the organizing committee is already very excited for what will be one of the most memorable editions to date! This year, the event will take place on Saturday, August 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. directly on Queen Street, which will be closed between Academy and College streets for the duration of the event. Mark your calendars!

Queen Street will be bustling with activity as kiosks from local businesses and non-profits will showcase their products and services. Numerous local bands and musicians will be performing throughout the day for the enjoyment of all. The line-up is sure to attract music lovers from all over the Eastern Townships, with names like Jon Macaulay, Mary and the Moonshiners, CMON FM, Mike Goudreau, the Queen St. Band, Redfox, Johan Gass, la Roue du loup, Double or Nothing, Bill Dier, Ron Haseltine and Janice Graham. There will also be plenty of activities for the whole family, including a make-up artist, inflatables, clowns and professional animation, a circus workshop, afternoon tea with Uplands as well as a boot camp activity.

Do you own a business or represent a non-profit organization? It’s not too late to book a table if you want to set-up a kiosk at the festival. Plus, it’s free if you are based in Lennoxville! To book your table online, visit www.streetfestival.ca or call us at 819 822-6082, ext. 108. Last year, over 125 tables were spread out along Queen Street.
