The Business Service department at Champlain College aims at helping the businesses in the Townships offer the best of themselves to the public and to their employees.
Could your business use some “language upgrading” courses in (ESL) English as a second language or (FSL) French as a second language? Do your employees need help with additional vocabulary, verb conjugation,
business terms, etc? We can help your business with that!
It is a known fact from Emploi-québec that by 2019 in the Eastern Townships alone approximately 23,500 baby boomers will be retiring. Are we ready for this change? Are you ready for a career change, an advancement? Now is your chance.
Champlain’s Continuing Education will have the following programs starting in fall 2018. (Registrations will be soon - keep an eye open!)
*A part-time AEC in Early Childhood Education will be offered evenings and Saturdays at the College (schedule may be subject to change). An early childhood educator will be in high demand in our region. This AEC is for individuals who wish to become an early childhood educator and have no experience, or for individuals who work in the field and wish to have the needed certification.
*A part-time AEC in the Transportation & Logistics specialty: Dispatch will also be offered. This will be given online with one Saturday a month in person at the College. The Transportation industry is a big part of the working force in our region, with the Dispatch specialist in high demand.
The Continuing Education department also has a variety of non-credited courses. The courses are listed on our website have a look.
