The Parent Tap,
a Discussion group designed to tap into every parent’s potential is a monthly forum for parents (partners welcome) to come together as adults to support each other, to explore parenting techniques, and obtain resources for problem solving. Led by Playgroup Facilitators, Charity Jayne Kerrigan (Early Childhood Education Specialist) and Rowan Smith (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & Doula), each 2hour session dig deep into common themes that typically surface during the preschool years. The LDWC Playgroup
will continue to meet at the Amedée-beaudoin Community Centre on Tuesdays from 9:30 to noon (until June 5) and Thursdays in May will be held at Centennial Park, and in June at Atto-beaver. OWLS (Outstanding Wise Ladies Sharing) will continue to meet on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 4 p.m. (until June 6). Painting & Bridge Group (resuming September 7, 2018). Prenatal Courses are offered to women and their partners 3 to 4 times a year at the Marguerite Knapp Building (next session is due to start end of May).
