Boundary Rotary Club fundraiser at The Piggery

- Record Staff

Back by popular demand, the highoctane British invasion tribute band the Hi-fins, will return to The Piggery Theatre for a concert benefiting the Boundary Rotary Club.

The show will take place on Saturday, July 14, beginning at 8 p.m. There will be a barbecue dinner available before the show, catered by local chef Bill Lidstone, available as of 6 p.m.

During the Hi-fins last visit to The Piggery, one concert goer was overheard saying ‘My cheeks hurt from smiling and my throat was sore from singing. I knew the words to every song. I could not even go to the bathroom!”

During their career, the Hi-fins have learned and performed over 400 songs from the best known bands that took North America by storm in the 1960s. With favourites by The Beatles, the band also gives a nod to other groups like The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and The Who to name a few.

While a typical concert includes around between 20-30 songs, the Hi-fins are known to pack in 40 tunes or more into their set lists, hoping to keep the audience singing and dancing for the duration of the show.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Boundary Rotary Club.

The Piggery Theatre is located at 215 Chemin Simard in Sainte-catherine-dehatley.
