2018 North Hatley Antique & Folk Art Show, North Hatley Elementary School, 110 School Street, North Hatley. Opening night: Friday, July 13, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres included in admission charge). Saturday, July 14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, July 15, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. General admission charged. For opening night tickets, call 819-842-2145. RICHMOND

Everyone is invited to the Richmond County Historical Society Museum, 1161 Rte. 243, Melbourne Township. The theme this year is heritage music and you will discover some fascinatin­g oldtime musical instrument­s and displays. The museum will be open on Wednesday to Sunday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Sundays in July, there will be musicians to entertain visitors from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Featured on July 8 is Isabelle Gosselin on violin and on July 15 Julie Miller will entertain with her harp. Later in the month Francine Beaubien and Gordon Alexander will perform with their keyboards. Mark your calendars and plan to visit the exhibition and attend the concerts.

MOE’S RIVER

The annual Moe’s River Strawberry Ice Cream Social will be held on Sunday, July 8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Moe’s River Church, parking in Ronnie Haseltine’s yard. Bring your own lawn chairs. There will be music, dancing, raffles, great conversati­on, desserts and of course ice cream and strawberri­es!

NORTH HATLEY

The Rotary Club of the Boundary is sponsoring a dinner and concert on July 14 at the Piggery. The Hi-fins, a British tribute band, will be playing. They came last year to the Piggery and no one left disappoint­ed. The Hi-fins play a fast-paced concert of music from the sixties made famous by the British bands (and a few others). At 6:00 that evening Boundary is sponsoring a barbecue dinner by Billy Lidstone. Admission charged. For reservatio­ns you can call 819-842-1940. If you remember the sixties, or wish you did, you will love this concert.

BISHOPTON
