Pet of the Week — Léa

-

Hello! I am a 1 1/2-year-old girl with medium-short, light brown fur (and my eyes are exactly the same colour too!), slight in stature, weighing 35-40 lbs - not too big! I’m sweet and nice, good with dogs, cats and kids. My family had a blind daughter and realized that the decision to get a dog was perhaps not well enough thought out because my presence made them nervous. I don’t exactly understand. It was not my fault - I did nothing wrong. It is just the way life goes sometimes!

So come, give me a chance. Come and see me and ALL MY MANY, MANY dog and cat friends here. All different sizes, colours, ages and personalities to choose from! We live at the SPCA Montérégie, 178, ch. du Vide, Ste-angèle-de-monnoir (exit 37 on autoroute 10). Adoption hours are 2 - 4 pm on Thursdays & Saturdays. We look forward to seeing you!

THUNDER, LIGHTNING and HOT CARS are the bane of our lives during the summer season. Please, please think of us, protect us. Keep us safely and securely in our homes!

At a ceremony held in Cowansville on June 14, 2018, two graduates of the Brome-missisquoi Campus Continuing Education program, from the Lake Brome area, were awarded bursaries offered by the Knowlton Lions Club. The recipients were Melissa Sengupta-nory, who received her CEGEP prerequisite and Oscar Lorenzi, who received his High School Leaving. Congratulations to the recipients.
