Featured pet: Simon and Pussy Willow

-

Simon and Pussy Willow came to us when their owner Mary passed away. Mary was a staunch advocate for animal welfare and a long time volunteer for the shelter. With the help of her family, most of her cats, all very well cared for, were rehomed but two, Simon and Pussy Willow who were brought to us for placement into loving homes.

Moving from from the security of a calm and quiet home to a shelter was not an easy transition. At first, both cats were very shy and scared. so to help ease them into shelter living, we gave Simon and Pussy Willow a room of their own. They have since adapted were released into the main room where they are definitely enjoying the freedom.

Simon who is 6 or 7, is lively and engaged and still has lots of love to give. He is affectionate and comes when tempted with a hand out of treats or when we call him by name with a soft and soothing voice. He has a beautiful coat and striking markings.

Pussy Willow who is between 4-6 years of age is affectionate and very easy going. She is a lovely grey tabby cat with a gentle temperament.

Both cats are healthy and active and more than ready to move back into a home where they can settle into a comfortable routine and form a bond with their new family.

Simon and Pussy Willow do not have to be adopted together but if you are looking for a pair that are sure to get along they would be a perfect choice. They are not however, bonded so can be separated.

If you are ready to give one or both of these wonderful cats the loving home they deserve, please send an email to frontieranimalsociety@gmail.com or come out to meet them at our cat adoption open house which takes place every Saturday from 10 a.m to noon at 2405 Griffin in Ogden.
