The Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre art gallery is exhibiting recent work of painter Sara Peck Colby. Sara Peck Colby has been painting landscapes of Quebec for over forty years. She is drawn to the patterns of nature, rhythms and repeats, shadows, branches, distant fields and forests defining informal glimpses of a peaceful life. Uplands, 9 Speid Street, Borough of Lennoxvill­e is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The exhibit will run until September 2, 2018.

The 28th annual Mastine Family Reunion is taking place on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Centre des Loisirs Community Center, 800 rue Gouin in Richmond, Quebec, starting with the 12 noon potluck lunch.
