Montérégie East calls for arts projects
The Quebec Arts and Letters Council (CALQ) is looking for project proposals as part of the second call for projects under the Territorial Partnership Agreement with the region of Montérégie-east, launched on July 13. The territories eligible to participate include the the Haut-richelieu, Pierrede Saurel and La Vallée-du-richelieu MRCS, Brome-missisquoi Local Development Center as well as the Conseil de la culture de Saint-hyacinthe.
Artists and organizations in the territory covered by the agreement have until September 21 to submit their proposals to CALQ.
Projects submitted must formally involve partnership initiatives with the community or local stakeholders and a letter signed by the partner confirming participation in the project is required as part of the application process.
Projects must also meet at least one of the following objectives:
•Support creative, production and outreach projects that foster the links between the arts and the community;
•Promote the accessibility and promotion of artistic and literary works to the local and regional population.
•Contribute to the development of Quebec artists and writers of all generations and all origins.
