Lennoxville and District Community Aid is inviting seniors and their families to a presentation on ticks by Dr. Jade Savage, Professor of Biological Sciences at Bishop’s University. Dr. Savage will discuss the changing distribution of tick species, how some tick species can have an influence on human health, and new methods to monitor the presence of ticks in Canada. The presentation will take place on August 30 from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 256 Queen St., Lennoxville. Free admission.
