Sherbrooke Réno-dépôt employees raise $7,120.92 for Rock Guertin Foundation

Employees of the Réno-dépôt store in Sherbrooke have donated $7,120.92 collected as part of the Lowe's Heroes Canada fundraisin­g campaign to the Rock Guertin Foundation, which works to combat hunger on the local level.

"We are grateful to our employees and clients across the country who rallied once again this year to help people love where they live," said Jean-sébastien Lamoureux, Senior Vice-president, Communicat­ions, Public Affairs and Compliance at Lowe's Canada. "Now that all of our corporate stores are with us for the very first time, our Lowe's Heroes Canada campaign can support even more organizati­ons and community projects that our employees care about. Many thanks to all those who helped make the 2018 campaign even more successful. "

Lowe's Canada, is donating a total of $1.1 million collected during the month of September, from each Lowe's, RONA and Réno-dépôt corporate store for nonprofit organizati­on or public schools of their choice to help them achieve their mission or to carry out a specific project. Lowe's Canada also contribute­d a corporate donation of 50 per cent of all funds raised through in-store initiative­s, up to a maximum of $2,000 per store. All funds raised through the campaign will be donated to more than 260 community organizati­ons.
