The Saint Francis Regional Ministry of the Anglican Church is organizing Christian Meditation sessions. The approach used is centering prayer. This is a contemplative Christian practice which involves sitting in silence, letting go of thoughts and emotions in order to rest in the presence of God. Charles Taylor, a Roman Catholic Québécois, is considered one of the world’s most important philosopher and his book, A Secular Age, will be at the center of the discussions.
