The Gospel of David

-

practice their beliefs in differing ways.

While the message is the same, the format followed can vary in procedures. There are many factions, all under the same umbrella.

They all profess Faith in the only one God.

Christianity has been challenged by other religions.

Each has a differing interpretation of the supreme deity.

They follow different ways of worship, and their beliefs are as strong as those of Christians.

For that reason, peace has been elusive forever.

There is one aspect in Christianity today that has been missing for quite some time. Benevolence. Well wishing to others. Helping hands to those in need or in distress. Ensuring your neighbour can prosper in life in the same manner as you.

The world of today has adopted the “I” or “me” attitude, where “me” dominates over “you”. Today in the twenty-first century, man has reached heights not thought of before.

And this has caused problems of gigantic proportion. Natural disasters, and warring among nations, has forced migrations of peoples from their lands. And believe it or not, they are unwelcomed guests in neighbouring countries.

And many of those are professed Christian. Rather than find a way to accommodate, more energy is expended in finding ways to say “go away”.

And that leads to the Gospel of David.

The aspect of Christianity that has fallen by the wayside.

“Benevolence” to your fellow man would encourage more friendships and many fewer enemies.

Be accepting of your neighbour.
