In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 crisis and the emotional distress that will inevitably come with it, the Lennoxville and District Women’s Centre (LDWC) decided to lend an ear to the Anglophone women of our community who are experiencing anxiety, worry and loneliness or who simply wish to talk to someone.

This entirely confidential phone service will be available Mondays to Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. starting on April 1, and will offer compassionate listening and referrals. This phone line will also serve to connect seniors or people in quarantine with volunteers who can run errands for them (ex.: groceries, medication, etc).

“We normally offer group activities and individual support at our Centre.
